1. He sacrificed A LOT to be an idol
We all love an inspiring story, and our boy here has a super interesting one. Back when he was only 12 he was cast as one of the main characters on the Korean production of the musical Billy Elliot. But as fate would have it, just before his opening stage he got cast by Fantagio (his actual agency) to become a trainee. At the end, his parents convinced him to join Fantagio, and luckily, he still got to use all his knowledge about classical dance as part of his preparation to be an idol. Fast forward to 2022, when he finally made his musical theatre debut as D’artagnan on the Korean production of the “Three Musketeers”.

2. He’s not only super talented but also hardworking
This guy has juggled multiple schedules like a pro. As the main dancer and sometimes choreographer of ASTRO, he’s the leader of all things dance related within the group. You just have to watch some of their dance practice videos to see how the members relay on him to learn the difficult steps.
3. He cares so much about his fans
He was called Fanservice Angel by Japanese fans after last ASTRO’s concert there.
