Previously, we reminisced on 6 luxury collaborations that male K-Pop idols engaged in, this time we are introducing 6 female high-fashion campaigns we still can’t get over. These are the incredible female brand ambassadors:

1. IU & Gucci

IU is one of the most recognized Korean idols, thus her collaboration with the luxury fashion house Gucci doesn’t come as a surprise. The celebrity became a model for Gucci’s “Beloved” collection, which unveiled her diverse aura - the looks ranged both from adorable, romantic sets to mature, businesswoman-like propositions. The campaign was truly mesmerizing and left IU’s fans in awe.

 2. IVE’s YuJin & Chanel

YuJin’s campaign with Chanel Beauty confirmed her as our ultimate girl crush. In the photoshoot for Marie Claire magazine, the celebrity made everyone fall in love with her angelic beauty, thanks to her youthful facial expressions and bright, girlie looks. Chanel and Marie Claire focused on emphasizing the sweet, cheerful concept of the collection, which brought out YuJin’s best qualities and engraved the beautiful photoshoot in DIVE’s (IVE’s fandom) memory.

3. BLACKPINK’s Jennie & GENTLE MONSTER

We obviously couldn’t miss out on mentioning Jennie in the list. The idol has participated in many campaigns including eyewear - her collections with GENTLE MONSTER broke not only into the hearts of admirers but also their pockets. Moreover, the “Jentle Home” and “Jentle Garden” collections included special pop-up stores, which attracted huge groups of Korea-based shoppers. These creative concepts Jennie was part of made the Korean luxury brand quickly gain international attention.

4. Red Velvet’s Joy & Calvin Klein

Joy’s photoshoot for Calvin Klein astonished ReVeluv (Red Velvet’s fandom) with the idol’s incredible body proportions. The brand pictioral included simple but very effective looks, which highlighted the artist’s healthy figure and mature curves. The campaign was focused not only on promoting Calvin Klein underwear, but also clothing such as jeans. Joy’s participation made the pieces appear as a perfect choice for anyone who looks for compelling everyday outfits. Fans were also amazed by the photo shoot for DAZED magazine in which Joy posed with the actor Jang KiYoung, promoting Calvin Klein’s autumn collection “LANGUAGE BETWEEN YOU AND ME, AUTUMN IN US”. Both of the brand’s ambassadors matched each other’s vibe perfectly, once again confirming Korean artists’ excellent ability to endorse products.

5. Girls’ Generation’s YoonA & Estée Lauder

YoonA looked like a true daydream in her “Advanced Night Repair” and “Micro Essence” promotional collaboration with Estée Lauder. Her mystical aura and lavish look perfectly transmitted the night-time concept. The skin-tight maxi dress and delicate white tops make the celebrity convert the photoshoot into a fantasy. Estée Lauder came out also with an empowering promotional video “I am my own hero” which spoke into the audience’s hearts.

6. MAMAMOO’s Hwasa & Gucci

If you think of Gucci style, the first K-Pop star that might come into your mind is Hwasa. The elegant and dignified impression that the idol gives is what made her a perfect choice as the brand’s ambassador. The traditional hanok background made Hwasa look like a queen of Korean brand endorsers in the photoshoot for Vogue. Moreover, the collaboration was also included in the Elle Christmas edition, which combined the traditional decorations with luxurious fashion in the most divine way.
